Peaceful Pathways Sanctuary is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a safe haven for dogs in need. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help further my mission of fostering healing, and finding their forever home.

We recently found a stray dog injured on the side of the road…skinny, scared, and clearly surviving on her own for far too long. After searching for an owner and checking lost dog reports with no success, we knew we had to step in and help her.

We brought her to the vet, where we learned that her leg injury is severe (broken bone and partial ACL tear.) The Vet wants to remove a the piece of broken bone from her leg and clean up the injury. We then will let her recover from this first surgery and see how she does. After the first surgery the Vet will decide if she can live with the partial ACL tear or require additional surgery. We will do whatever is the best option for her to live a pain-free, healthy life. All options are costly, but giving her a second chance is something we’re fully committed to. In addition to her surgery she will be getting spayed and microchipped
