To Our Valued Guests and Community,
As our slowest season of the year has arrived, we are once again asking for support to keep Peacefood alive. It is our mission to not only serve quality and affordable vegan food and desserts but also to raise the collective vibration with love and compassion for all. Many vegan restaurants in New York City have not been able to survive due to inflation and soaring rent prices, and Peacefood is still at high risk of closing. While we are immensely grateful to our loyal customers for continuing to choose Peacefood, we have still been unable to keep up with rent for several months. With your support, we believe we can overcome adversity and remain one of New York’s vegan strongholds.
Our restaurant is not only a space for eating plant-based cuisine. It is a space for all to find solace and compassionate care in a world that does not always put love first. At Peacefood, it is our goal to lead with love and build a space filled with positive energy. Every guest we have welcomed is part of our family, and we hope to continue attracting more like-minded individuals during our time of need. If Peacefood has had a positive effect on your life, we ask that you please spread the word so that more people can enjoy our all-vegan menu and delightful atmosphere.
There is great power in our Peacefood community, and we are calling for everyone to contribute so that we can keep our doors open for years to come. Whether you decide to donate to our GoFundMe, dine in at either of our locations, or order online, you are making an important impact on our beloved home. All of our staff and crew are thankful for your abundant support, and we look forward to many more years of prosperity to come.
