Hi everyone -

For those who may not be as familiar with us, PDX Fitness Zone is a local Woman, and BIPOC owned Personal Training and Small group training gym in SE Portland.

I opened the space in June of 2020 with the hope of creating a safe space for all to be vulnerable, get accessible fitness training, and find community to really connect with their coaches and fellow clients. We can confidently say we have created that here over the last 6 years.

About 4 weeks ago we were told by our landlords that they would not be renewing our lease as they plan to go a different direction with the space. This only gave us 30-60 days to vacate our entire livelihoods and try and find a new space which has been challenging to say the least.

Being unprepared to move, pay up front costs for a new space, building out a new gym, potentially taking time off from training clients until a space is ready, etc has led us here: asking for help from the community.

We know times are tough and we wouldn’t be asking if we didn’t feel it was necessary but any support we can get right now to help us keep this community going is extremely appreciated. We still have so many more memories to make, bootcamps to throw, and clients to lift weights with!
