Hey there, my name is Nimat and I grew up on PBS, Sesame Street, Electric Company, and the amazing educational programs by a young Maya Angelou. As a child, I’d lose myself in PBS when my father was drunk and terrorized the household; it was such a “Happy Place” for me that it was instrumental in saving my mental health and influencing me to become the Psychotherapist that I am today. I REFUSE to see PBS go away… I hope you feel the same.❤️
