Payton was selected as a Chehalem Valley Middle School 2026 Japanese Exchange Delegate! ✈️

She is beyond excited for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to Japan this May. During her stay, she will live with a host family, learn about Japanese culture firsthand, and represent our community abroad. Then in August, we’ll have the chance to welcome a Japanese student into our home as part of the exchange.

This program is a long-standing and meaningful tradition between Chehalem Valley Middle School and Wadayama, and as a family, we are thrilled for Payton to be part of it.
