NEW BUILDINGS @ PAW WARRIORS: Cat Sanctuary Needs Your Help

Tax deductible
Hi, we're PAW WARRIORS, INC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat sanctuary in Spring Hill, FL, dedicated to helping sick, injured or displaced feral cats in our local community. While with us, we provide OUR RESIDENTS with care, comfort and compassion. At any given time, we have about 200 Residents that need dedication and commitment from the Community in the form of VOLUNTEER hours or DONATED funds. As a non-profit, we are committed to giving every cat a second chance at a life of love, whether it be at our five acre sanctuary or in a FURever home.

As of February 2025, we kicked off our 11th year of being a NON-PROFIT and our improvement goal this year, is removing a very old and dangerous building. This building has survived tornadoes and hurricanes but is now damaged beyond repair (check out the pictures and see what we mean!!!) It is now hazardous to our Residents and is in the process of being removed, as this campaign is being published. This then leaves us with a critical shortage of space to meet the needs of our Residents, as we head towards the most active time of HURRICANE season.

OUR GOAL, then, is to replace this space with TWO new pre-built ones that are made to withstand 180 mph winds (given that we are in Florida - this is key). One of the new buildings will be used to keep up with the tons of laundry we do each day (again - we have 200 cats at any given time)! It will be made to hold two washers and two dryers, etc.

The second building will be our new MEDICAL CLINIC/ISOLATION ROOM which is desperately needed. It will allow us to better maintain a sterile environment given that our mission is the sickest and weakest of cats. Right now, all of the buildings on this property are quite ancient and we would like to make the environment here as healthy as possible for our Residents. New buildings also give our Volunteers the space to work as efficiently as possible .
.
The current medical clinic/isolation building (which is quite small) will then be recycled into a secure food storage area. Again, given the tropical weather we have, this is another key need.

To meet this overall goal, the amount we need is $12,700 and the breakdown is as follows:
  • Remaining tear-out and removal of old building - $1200
  • Medical Clinic - approximately $6500
  • Laundry Facility - approximately $3500
  • Plumbing and electrical build out of these two new buildings - $1500
  • Creating safe, loving environments for cats awaiting adoption and staff supporting their needs - $PRICELESS

Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that PAW Warriors can continue to protect and care, in a QUALITY manner, for the animals in our community. Together, we can fight for a better tomorrow for these deserving cats. Thank you for your support!
