At just 27 years old, Paul has spent most of his life fighting to survive circumstances no child should ever have to endure.
By the age of 13, Paul was already learning how to fend for himself after years of neglect and instability at home. He and his sister grew up in an abusive environment where they were often made to feel unwanted. His mother was physically abusive, and both parents repeatedly kicked him out, leaving him to survive on his own while still just a kid. After his parents separated and moved on with new partners, Paul was often left without a stable place to live or any real support system.
For the past 10 years, Paul has struggled on and off with homelessness, not because he lacks work ethic or ambition, but because he never had the foundation or safety net most people rely on. Despite everything he’s been through, he has continued pushing forward and refusing to give up on building a better life for himself.
Recently, Paul secured a new job in security and has been working hard to regain stability and independence. Until recently, his car was more than just transportation, it was his shelter, his safety, and the one thing helping him stay employed while trying to get back on his feet.
Losing his car has left him in an incredibly vulnerable position. Without it, getting to work, staying safe at night, and maintaining any sense of stability has become extremely difficult.
We are raising funds to help Paul get his car back so he can continue working, have a safe place to sleep while he saves for housing, and finally begin breaking out of the cycle of hardship he has been trapped in for so long.
Paul is one of the kindest and most hardworking people you could meet. Even after everything life has thrown at him, he still wants more for himself and continues striving toward a stable future. Right now, he just needs a little help from his community to make that future possible.
Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean the world and make a real difference in his life. And if you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this campaign could help change his situation completely.
Thank you for taking the time to read Paul’s story and for helping him take this next step forward.
