Hi, my name is Svetlana and I'm the sister of Paul Moure. Here’s an update on where he is right now in his colorectal cancer journey.
unfortunately, Paul‘s recent biopsy showed that the cancer had moved to his liver. He is scheduled to see a liver specialist in a couple of weeks at City of Hope. At the Cancer Center For Healing they are providing treatment for his liver. Treatment continues to be very costly.
The Cancer Center For Healing does not want him to do surgery at City of Hope.
City of Hope would like to do surgery.
Paul is confused and isn’t sure which direction to go. Please pray for wisdom as he considers both options.
Surgery would leave him with a very undesirable outcome. His lifestyle would be changed. Whenever he leaves his home, he would have to know where the next nearest restroom was. He would not be free to take his road trips anymore. And there would be probable loss of control, without getting too personal. Because of these situations, we did some research, and Paul has found the Cancer Center for healing in the city of Irvine that can provide alternative treatment. But it’s very costly and they do not work with his particular medical insurance. So he has to pay for treatment after each visit, out of pocket. The initial fee is $10,000, then the monthly cost will be between two and $7000 per month, depending on the program they put them on and how many days a week he will receive treatment. He is receiving IV infusions of vitamin C, along with other treatments.
We have looked into some other financial resources, But so far we haven’t found anyone who’s providing any financing for Paul’s colorectal cancer.
I'm fundraising for Paul because he has had to stop working, due to cancer, about a year ago and has been living on his savings. His savings is dwindling
and I am concerned about his financial status. I ask you to please, prayerfully consider giving to Paul to help him out at this time. He's got a great attitude and his trust is in the Lord. He's a great guy and he would also love your prayer support.
We thank you for whatever you can do to help. Any amount helps! We love you!
