Hi, my name is Svetlana and I'm the sister of Paul Moure. As of May 25th, 2026, here’s an update on where he is right now in his colorectal cancer journey.

I just spent 11 days with Paul after his surgery, but starting tomorrow, he will be on his own at home. 11 days ago he had surgery to remove the metastasized cancer. The surgeon removed more than 1/3 of his liver, part of his diaphragm and his gallbladder. They also found two lesions on the healthy part of his liver and burned those out. He’s got a huge “ L” shaped scar across his stomach

So, several months before surgery Paul started a new holistic treatment. He had to stop one month before surgery, but started again a couple days ago. It involves daily injections, an IV once a week as well as supplements. In about two months from today, he will be given a blood test to see if the treatment is working. This particular blood test takes about three weeks to receive the results because the blood has to be shipped to Europe for the results.

Until then, we’re praying that this new holistic treatment is working and working fast!

I'm fundraising for Paul because he has had to stop working, due to cancer, about 2 years ago and had been living on his savings. His savings has been depleted and now he has been using his retirement funds, so I continue to be concerned about his financial status. Holistic treatments are quite expensive, and this one proves to be the same.
