Help My Son Fight Stage 2 Cancer
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
My son, Paul, is a bright, creative, and resilient 33-year-old with a passion for storytelling and all things Marvel and Star Wars. He’s a quiet person who’s always been the first to offer a helping hand but rarely asks for help himself. Today, I’m asking on his behalf.
Just weeks ago, Paul underwent surgery to remove his left testicle after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. While the surgery was successful, further scans revealed that the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes near his kidneys. Now, he faces an intense 9-week chemotherapy journey to fight this disease head-on.
Paul is staying strong and optimistic, determined to beat this. But the reality of this battle is overwhelming. He lives alone, and the cost of caregiving services, transportation to appointments, and comfort items to make his treatment more manageable is beyond what he can handle alone.
We’ve set a goal of $10,000 to cover the most urgent needs:
- Caregiver costs to ensure he has support during and after treatments.
- Transportation expenses for the many appointments and treatments ahead.
- Comfort items and equipment to help ease the physical toll of chemotherapy.
- Unforeseen costs that may arise during this fight.
Your generosity will allow Paul to focus fully on his recovery without the added burden of financial stress. Whether you can donate, share this fundraiser, or keep him in your prayers, every bit helps and means the world to us.
Paul is facing this challenge with bravery and resilience, but he can’t do it alone. Together, let’s show him he’s not alone in this fight and help him get back to doing what he loves most: creating stories and inspiring others.
Thank you for standing with us during this time.
With gratitude and hope,
Cindy (Paul's Mom) & Sarah (Paul's Sister)
