On Sunday, November 2nd, our beloved Paulo suffered a tragic and sudden heart attack, followed by several cardiac arrests. After weeks of care in the ICU, Paulo has sadly passed away.

Paulo was the life of the party and always quick with a joke to everyone who knew him. He was helpful, kind, and gentle, but most of all, he was deeply loved by all. To say he will be missed would be a tremendous understatement.

Together, both families, closest friends, Paulo’s employer, and the residents of 2000/2010 Islington Ave—where Paulo worked for over 25 years—have come together to set up this fundraiser.

Paulo was a great dad and would have done anything for Dario. While we cannot replace the love and guidance Dario has lost, we can come together to support Dario and Anita as they navigate this incredibly difficult journey.

Our hope is that this GoFundMe will help alleviate some of the financial strain, allowing them to focus on healing without the added stress of financial worries.
