Hi my Williamsburg/Greenpoint friends and family,

I am reaching out for help for my forever friend, Paulie Escue. You all know Paulie in one capacity or another, whether it be friend, family, or acquaintance. Paulie has always been a kind and generous person in his life; now, he needs us to be kind, generous, and offer support to him.

Paulie has been battling health and financial problems for awhile and most recently, he had to deal with more setbacks to not only his health, but life. He was living in his car because he was unable to work and support himself; recently, they took away his car and his driver's license so he has really hit rock bottom. It's scary and very sad. He's been denied disability 2 TIMES even though he suffers from Type 2 diabetes, lymphodema, vasculitis, and foot drop.

Paulie is an only child. He doesn't have any siblings to help him out. His mom passed away and he is estranged from his father---what he needs now the most are his friends.

He has nothing, and needs an indefinite amount of medical treatments that he can't afford to pay for. He's in constant pain, but doesn't even have his own bed to rest in after the treatments.
