Support Paulette's Stroke Recovery Journey

I am Paulette’s daughter-in-law. My husband, brother-in-law, and I have started this GoFundMe page to assist in covering the associated cost for her medical care.

On Monday, 26 May, Paulette suffered a massive stroke to the left middle cerebral artery which has caused weakness and immobility to her right side. John and I were traveling back to Georgia at the time and she was not found until late evening. The doctors are estimating the stroke occurred 6 hours prior to her being found and therefore are not sure on if or how long it will take her to regain the ability to move, speak, or eat on her own.

Due to the unknown time frame for recovery and discharge, we aren’t sure how much her insurance will cover, and will need to pay the rest out of pocket. Our emergency fund has already been fully utilized to assist in covering the cost of traveling to Ohio to be with her in the hospital.

All funds raised will go toward assisting in covering the cost associated with her care.
