For as long as I can remember, I have worked hard and tried to be kind to everyone I meet. Asking for help is not something that comes easily to me, but I find myself in a place where support from others could make all the difference. In October 2025, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and since then, my health has been a constant challenge. I am about to undergo my fourth surgery in just over five months, after experiencing serious complications from previous procedures. The physical and emotional toll has been immense, and the uncertainty of each new surgery brings a great deal of fear and stress.
My family and I are self-employed and self-insured, which means we do not have the safety net of paid time off or short-term insurance. My husband, Eric, has been working tirelessly to keep our business running while also caring for me, and my son, Denton, is balancing college and work. The unforeseen, unexpected, and overwhelming impact of my health struggles has created considerable financial hardship for us. Despite everything, I have continued to work when and where I can, and I am determined to find a position outside our company after my recovery to help us regain our financial footing.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward medical bills, insurance premiums, living expenses, and offsetting the wages I have been unable to earn. Your support during this difficult time will not only help ease the financial burden but will also give me the peace of mind I need to focus on healing. I am deeply grateful for the love, prayers, cards, comments, and gifts I have already received—your kindness has meant more than you will ever know. Thank you for considering supporting me and my family as we navigate this challenging journey together.
