We are trying to raise funds to help with our bills that are piling up. Paula is in the hospital right now still after just having our son on the 6th, she ended up having a failed epidural that caused her to have a spinal leak where she was not able to sit or stand without excruciating pain so they did a blood patch that was successful for over 24 hours but then she ended up having chest pain and not being able to breathe just to come back to the hospital to find out she has heart failure and fluid on her lungs which then in turn made the blood patch fail after some of the medication so now she is in excruciating pain again when she sits and stands and they will not do another one until they figure out what's wrong with her heart. not knowing when she will be released. During this time she's going without the joy of being able to be with her newborn son her family and I'm having to take off work to take care of appointments and school etc. and as a sole provider for this family that's hard to do and work. she is being diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy. And her heart is working at 30%. She has fluid in her lungs and congestive heart failure. I don't like asking for help, but we've worked to hard for our home and landlords and bill collectors don't care about anything but getting their money. We need help. I'm scared that by the time she's released or if she is well be so far behind I won't be able to catch us back up.
