Four weeks ago, our dear friend Paula was involved in a serious car accident alongside a group of friends. All of them suffered significant injuries and are on the long road to recovery. Paula, however, sustained severe abdominal injuries and was transferred to the Westmead Hospital in Parramatta, where she was in the ICU for three weeks. She has just been moved to the Trauma unit in the same hospital, undergoing multiple surgeries and treatments, and receiving the best care possible.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for Paula as she heals. She is in Australia without any family nearby to support her, and unfortunately, her family is unable to travel to be with her at this time. While we, her friends, are doing everything we can to care for her and provide emotional support, the financial burden is growing.

As an international student, the situation is even more challenging - being far from her family and unable to work due to her injuries. Paula relies on her income to cover living expenses and pay for her education, but her hospitalization has left her unable to support herself financially.

We are reaching out to you, our community, for support. Your generous donations will help cover her medical expenses, essential living costs, and the financial burden she now faces as she continues her long journey to healing. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a huge difference.

Hace cuatro semanas, nuestra querida amiga Paula estuvo involucrada en un grave accidente automovilístico junto a un grupo de amigos. Todos ellos sufrieron lesiones significativas y están en el largo camino hacia la recuperación. Paula, sin embargo, sufrió graves lesiones abdominales y fue trasladada al Hospital Westmead en Parramatta, donde estuvo en la UCI durante tres semanas y acaba de ser trasladada a la unidad de traumatología en el mismo hospital. Ha pasado por múltiples cirugías y tratamientos, recibiendo la mejor atención posible.

Este ha sido un tiempo increíblemente difícil para Paula mientras se recupera. Ella está en Australia sin ningún familiar cercano que pueda apoyarla, y lamentablemente, su familia no puede viajar para estar con ella en este momento.
