Help Paula Fight Breast Cancer and Focus on Healing

My beloved mom, Paula, has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, and our family is preparing for the difficult journey ahead.

If you know Paula, you know what an incredible person she is. She is beautiful, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, intelligent, and loving. She has a heart that makes room for everyone, and she has a special way of bringing joy to the people around her. She befriends everyone she meets and loves with her whole heart. To me, she is not only an amazing mother, but also the strongest woman I know.

Life has tested Paula in ways no one should have to endure. She has faced the heartbreaking loss of her spouse, the loss of her job that same night, and losing her home all at once. Despite experiencing so much pain and uncertainty, she found a way to keep going. She has overcome obstacle after obstacle, showing a strength and resilience that continues to inspire everyone who knows and loves her.

Now, Paula is facing another difficult battle. We believe in her strength, her determination, and her ability to face this challenge head-on. We know she will fight with everything she has, just as she has done through every hardship life has placed in her path.

But even the strongest people need support sometimes.

As Paula begins treatment and prepares for surgery, we want to give her the opportunity to focus on what matters most: fighting cancer, healing, and getting better. Unfortunately, the cost of medical care, everyday living expenses, and the time she may need away from work will create a significant financial burden. Without help, she may feel forced to continue working through treatment and recovery simply to make ends meet.

Our hope is to ease that burden so Paula can take the time she needs to care for herself without the constant worry of how she will cover her expenses.

As her daughter and the mother of her grandson, it is incredibly difficult to see someone who has given so much love and strength to others face something like this. We want to surround her with the same kindness, compassion, and support she has so freely given to everyone else.
