Paula Pulliam has devoted her life to serving others. She was a teacher at a private school where she felt called to minister for 20 plus years. After she retired, she opened an in-home daycare and has provided care for 10 years there to continue what she felt was her life's mission. She made sure the children within her reach were always learning and felt loved in a safe environment. She has raised 5 children and has 6 grandchildren who love and adore her.

She has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which has metastasized to her lungs and abdomen. This diagnosis has dramatically changed not only her physical and mental health but it has affected her financial situation as she is no longer able to run her in-home daycare, which is her main source of income. She is a fighter and will fight this disease with everything she has, but she could use financial help from her long-time friends, previous students, and anyone who has been influenced by her presence over the years.
