Paul O'Quinn was taken to an urgent care facility for a cough and not feeling well. While at urgent care, they came across an issue with his heart rate and suggested he go to the ER. He ended up getting admitted there. Things rapidly got worse later in the night, and he was put on life support. The following day, he was life-flighted to a hospital with more resources. He spent 20 days at Baylor St. Lukes in Houston, where his heart and other organs seemed to be on a roller coaster. He has been released from the hospital but is having to wear a life vest and being visited regularly
by home health.
