On April 18th, 2020 Paul was diagnosed with a rare form of appendix cancer (appendiceal cancer) that spread from his appendix to his small intestines. He was then transported by ambulance to the University of Minnesota Hospital  to have surgery to remove his appendix and two feet of his intestines to remove the cancerous tumors. He had a few complications after surgery that required him to stay two more weeks in the hospital.  He is now recovering from home, and will now need 6 months of chemotherapy.

Paul's family has asked for help in these difficult times and I know they will be so grateful for any donation. All donations will go to Paul to help cover his medical bills.

There would have been a benefit for Paul at Mr. D's Bar & Grill if we were able to be open. So for now this is how we can show our support to Paul and his family. Thank you!
