On behalf of my two sisters, Elizabeth Montgomery and Angela Whaley, and myself, I write today to inform you that our father – Paul R. Montgomery – has Stage 4 Cancer and was recently given but 6 months to live.

Our Dad was the best, always providing for his children in times of their needs and for his six (6) grandchildren throughout his life. And he raised us well. Dad is a retired Indiana State Policeman, credited with having saved two small children’s lives and much honored during his career.

But you may know him best from his nearly 40-year history within the Private Security Industry, serving as a well-known Executive Vice President for national companies California Plant Protection (CPP Security) and for Pinkerton Security and Investigations, and later as EVP for the Atlanta-based regional company, International Security Management Group (ISMG), until it was sold to Universal Security.

We know he helped so many, taught so many, and affected so many people’s successful careers. Thus, we hope that you will help our family raise money to fund one last road trip for him and me, as well as defray his medical and last rite expenses as he lives through his final days.
