Support Paul Miller During Kidney Cancer Recovery

Hello everyone,

Several weeks ago, I noticed something alarming—there was a ting of red to my urine. I was concerned and went to the emergency room and after several hours of routine tests and multiple scans, I was given the scariest news of my life. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The past several months suddenly made sense—issues I had experienced with swollen legs, difficulty regulating my blood pressure, and back pain pointed to kidney cancer.

I have been incredibly fortunate to have been supported by friends and family over the past seven weeks while my doctors determined my treatment plans. I underwent kidney removal on September 11 th , and my doctors say the surgery was successful. I will miss the next six weeks of work while recovering, and during that time, I will have no income.

Some of you had kindly asked about how you could help, and I have decided to create a GoFund Me page. I am asking you—my friends, family, and anyone who understands how uncertain our lives can be—for your support. The funds raised will be used for my medical bills and day-to-day living expenses.
