Hey friends and family. As you know, I’m Molly, 23 years old, mother to twin soon-to-be 5-year-olds, a 1-month-old, as well as my 13-year-old brother.
My father, Paul McDaniels, has been in the hospital since the beginning of August when they discovered a Hot Wheels-sized tumor in the front of his brain. The tumor has been removed. Now he’s working his way through recovery, and we will know more about chemotherapy and radiation soon. Unfortunately, while he’s been in the hospital, he lost his job and no longer has insurance. I personally cannot afford the $1,200 the insurance company is asking for upfront for continuation insurance. This would allow him to get into a month-long rehabilitation center. From there, each month is $586 for this said insurance. Without the $1,200, he won’t be able to receive the month-long care, which I feel would be very beneficial for his recovery. Not to mention his other bills that are coming up. I’m asking for any sort of help, which is not something I would usually do. Although I’m entirely financially, mentally, and emotionally overwhelmed with everything going on. I don’t expect to raise $1,200, but anything can help at this point. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
Here’s a goofy picture one of my sons took of their grandpa Paul while he was mid-conversation. This was before his surgery.
