Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for someone very dear to us — Paul Loy, who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer.
This news has been a life-changing shock for Paul, Laura, and their two boys, Bryce and Carter. It has also been a shock to all of their family and friends as Paul is just 45 years young. He is facing a long and challenging road ahead that includes chemoradiation, surgery, and ongoing treatments — all while trying to maintain strength, hope, and some sense of normalcy.
As many of you know, Paul is in a boy band, but beyond Out Of Uniform he is a loving husband, a wonderful father, generous friend, and someone who lights up every room. He's never met a stranger. He works hard keeping his family and community safe, he keeps people laughing, some in part because they probably didn't understand what he is saying!
He is always ready to help others in times of need, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
Unfortunately, the emotional toll of cancer is only part of the struggle. That’s why we’ve started this GoFundMe — to give Paul and his family the support they need so they can focus on healing.
Your donation — no matter the amount — will help cover:
*Medical bills and treatments not fully covered by insurance
*Transportation to and from treatment centers
*Lost wages due to time off work
*Meals, utilities, and other living expenses during recovery
If you’re not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network or sending love and encouragement — it all means the world.
We’re so grateful for your kindness, prayers, and support during this time. Let’s rally around Paul and help ease some of the burden so he can focus on what matters most: getting well!
We all know that Paul has never bowed down to a challenge; the Louisa in him wouldn't allow it!
With gratitude,
Chris and Vicki Briggs
