On September 16th, 2025, my husband Paul High was diagnosed with HFrEF, a life-changing condition that has turned our world upside down. Since his diagnosis, he has been unable to work and is now in the process of applying for disability. This sudden change has put a tremendous strain on our family, both emotionally and financially, as we try to adjust to a new reality and support his health journey.

The financial challenges have quickly added up. My income alone is not enough to cover our living expenses, and we are facing mounting medical bills, the cost of food, and the ongoing expense of gas for frequent trips to doctor appointments. Every day brings new worries about how we will manage, but I am determined to do everything I can to support my husband and keep our family afloat during this difficult time.
