I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my friends and their family after they found themselves in an extraordinary situation.

On July 14, Paul made a split-second decision to stop an out-of-control vehicle after the driver became unresponsive due to a medical emergency with her young child still inside the car. His actions helped prevent the vehicle from entering freeway traffic, where a much more serious accident could have occurred.

Thankfully, lives were spared, but his commuter vehicle was damaged in the process. While they have insurance, they are still facing a deductible and repair-related expenses that may not be fully covered.
