Hello!

I'm Paty and my life changed drastically a month ago. I went to the ER thinking I had a stomach flu. After being transferred to another hospital, I was then hit by a nightmare of news. My kidneys stopped working and I was diagnosed with highly aggressive bladder cancer - the silent killer that's been damaging me. I currently have two nephrostomy tubes in each kidney to help them work, and I'm undergoing tests and exams to determine the extent of my cancer so we can then start a plan. I've had to go to the hospital and ER in the meantime because I keep having infections, and my bladder isn't voiding any urine that makes its way there, so that has been increasing the danger of more infections. It's been a nightmare of a battle that has just started.

We usually think things like these don't happen to us until it reaches our door and there's not much you can do to avoid it.

I need your help, be it big or small, every little bit helps with the massive expenses that I have ahead of me.
