We are deeply saddened that our beloved Chatty Patty, Pat, Mom, Gram, etc. whose devoted faith has carried her through many hard battles in her long life, has one more big one to face with the utmost grace as she always does.

Patty is an incredibly giving and caring woman who has spent decades serving her community as a Special Ed teacher’s assistant and waitress, while also running a food pantry at her church for years. She has always put the needs of others before her own, never asking for anything in return. Her kindness and generosity have touched countless lives, and she has been a source of light and support for so many people around her.

Sadly, Patty is now facing a very aggressive, rapidly spreading terminal lung cancer. She is currently in at-home hospice care, surrounded by her loving family who are doing everything they can to make her comfortable. The costs of hospice care, including medical supplies, equipment like her hospital bed and comfort machines, and the wonderful nurses who help with her daily needs, are overwhelming and have placed a significant financial strain on the family. Despite everything, Patty remains adamant about not wanting to be a burden to anyone, which is a testament to her selfless spirit.

If anyone deserves support and kindness in return, it is Patty. We are asking for help to cover her hospice care costs so that she can spend her final days with dignity and peace, without worrying about being a burden to her family.
