Patty Beretta is a true fighter, facing her second major battle with cancer. For the past three years, she has bravely managed stage 4 uterine cancer and a rare, aggressive skin cancer called Extramammary Paget’s Disease, which has spread to her lymph nodes and bones. Despite these challenges, Patty’s spirit remains strong. She continues to undergo triweekly chemotherapy infusions and copes with severe lymphedema in her left leg, which has greatly affected her mobility. Through it all, Patty’s signature wit and resilience shine, and she finds comfort and creativity in making pens during her treatments—a hobby that helps keep her mind at ease.

Patty is the heart of our family, a devoted mother and grandmother to five grandchildren. She’s always been there for us, bringing laughter and love even in the toughest times. Now, as she prepares for surgery on September 19, she will be out of work for at least six weeks. The financial strain of ongoing medical bills and daily living expenses like rent, groceries, and utilities is overwhelming. As her caretaker, I am managing her care and the funds raised to ensure she can focus on healing.
