Hi all, my name’s Patty and I recently had my vehicle wrongfully seized by SFPD, claiming OPD had it flagged in a previous owner’s evasion, they wrongfully handcuffed without elaboration, and left me in the middle of the mission at 2AM alone. I haven’t been able to get any of my belongings out of the car, including my complex’s parking lot gate key that I paid for out of pocket and will have to replace. The cost to get my car out raises almost daily and it’s too much with my monthly bills, and supporting myself and my son. I need a means of transportation, and can’t afford a rental or daily public transit at the moment. I’m reaching out to my community with hope, I rarely ask for help and always figure it out on my own, but this situation I just can’t handle alone.
