Patti's Preschool Staff Fund

The closure of Patti’s Preschool, in support of the community effort to fight the spread of COVID-19, has placed a great burden on me as a small business owner. I’m currently paying full wages to my 18 employees and have personally guaranteed their next paycheck due April 15th in-full. My income has dropped to zero and I am using my own resources to make sure my teachers are taken care of financially. I will continue to do so for as long as I can. I will be applying for an SBA loan but this campaign will help bridge the gap.  I am incredibly proud and grateful for my employees, some of whom have been with me for over 25 years.

I have created the Support Patti’s Preschool Staff Fund for anyone interested in assisting me. 100% of the donations will be used for future payrolls for my teachers. It is important that I retain them in order for the students to be greeted by familiar faces when we reopen. My staff has worked hard to provide high-quality child care to the community and I believe, in these extraordinary times, they deserve a helping hand. With your support I can keep them employed.

Many of our current parents have already offered to help and I am incredibly grateful for their contributions. For anyone wishing to donate, please accept my deepest thanks and appreciation on behalf of my staff and myself. We look forward to reopening and welcoming back all of our families. We are in this together!
