Hi, I'm Karen Symonette and I have known Patricia (Patti) Beske since 1993. We were neighbors and became best friends over the years. Patti, her husband and son moved to Texas years ago where they became long term residents, pillars of the community and were members of Episcopal church.
Patti is now widowed as her husband, John, suffered a stroke in 2013. John was no longer able to work, and Patti cared for him at home until he died in August of 2020. After John’s death, she returned to work at her church's preschool. In 2024, Patti fell and fractured her knee and underwent surgery. After that, she was unable to return to work.
Now, this year, 2025, Patti was diagnosed with colon cancer which has spread to her lymph nodes. She recently had surgery to remove a good portion of her colon, consequently requiring a colostomy bag. It is now Nov 2025, and Patti is under Heritage Hospice Care. She is in great need of financial support and lots of prayers for everything that she has been through. This includes all her medical bills, a full-time nurse aide to assist with activities of daily living, someone to help provide her with meals and housework, and lots of prayers.
Patti has one son, Perrin William Beske, who has been doing everything he can during this difficult time. We want to ease some of the burden on both of them so they can focus on spending quality time together. Every donation will go toward making this period in Patti's life easier for her and her son.
