Dear family and friends,
As many of you are aware, we are truly fortunate to have our mother in our lives at the age of 81. Despite her struggles with spinal pain, she has always embraced life to the fullest. Unfortunately, on November 25th, while she was outside late in the evening walking her dog just a few steps from home, three large dogs charged at her and knocked her down onto the concrete. She was unable to get back up and called out for help from her neighbors. Thankfully, they responded and assisted her, but she couldn't walk, leading to a call for 911. She sustained injuries to her hip and femur ( broke her hip and fractured her femur) After an MRI and surgery on November 27, she is now recovering with a titanium pin in her femur.
She will need to stay in a rehabilitation center for 20 days and will require 24/7 care until her doctors deem her fit to be independent. Additionally, she won't be able to drive for six months. Unfortunately, all of her daughters work full-time and are unable to provide the necessary care financially.
We are reaching out to all family, friends, and friends of friends to contribute what they can to ensure she receives the best care possible until she can manage on her own.
Patsy has a heart of gold and has always been there to help others, whether it's caring for stray animals or providing food and blankets to the homeless. Now, it's her turn to receive the support she needs to make her recovery as smooth and stress-free as possible.
With humble hearts, we kindly ask for any donations you can offer.
Thank you in advance ❤️
