Pat is finally home. After everything he has been through, walking through the door feels like a huge step forward for all of us. The hospital and rehab helped get him to this point, but being home is really where the next part of the journey begins.
Now the real work starts. After so much time in a hospital bed, his body is very weak, and he has a lot of strength to rebuild. Each day he’ll be doing physical therapy and working on building his muscles back. Some days will feel like big progress, and some will be small steps—but every step matters.
Your support has helped get us this far, and we are incredibly grateful. As Pat continues this next stage of healing at home, your kindness and support mean more than you know. It helps give him the time and space he needs to focus on getting stronger, one day at a time. ❤️

For more than 40 years, Pat has shown up for Boston—until the day his heart suddenly stopped while he was at work. The man who has fed and smiled his way into countless lives is now fighting for his own.
Pat has a way of lighting up every room he enters, offering a smile that feels genuine and earned. He’s poured his heart into running his canteen truck across the Boston area, showing up day after day. He’s never been one to ask for help, even when life was heavy, choosing instead to carry on with quiet strength and a generosity that has touched countless lives.
As a small business owner, he has always lived modestly, working hard just to make ends meet. Now, with overwhelming medical bills, upcoming rehabilitation, and everyday expenses continuing to pile up, he needs support more than ever. At home, his loyal dog, Saddie, waits patiently—missing him deeply and hoping for the day he comes back home.
We’re reaching out to friends, family, and the greater Boston community to stand beside Pat during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps lift a piece of the burden—allowing Pat to focus on healing and finding his way back to the life and work he loves, with Sadie right by his side. Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and for helping Pat on his journey toward recovery
