Thank you for visiting Pat's fundraiser. She was my grandmother and passed away penniless on March 24, from terminal cancer.

She was a very caring soul, and despite being so poor, she always tried to help everyone else around her in any way she could. She possessed a degree in social work and spent time in Guatemala helping the needy. As she grew older and started a family, she would end up working two jobs just to support her children and family.

As my grandmother, she made sure that I always felt cared for and supported, and she would always follow my family around as we moved so she could be close to her grandchildren. She was a kindhearted soul, and we miss her dearly.
