Support Patrick's Fight Against MSA

My name is Patrick Shulze I have recently been diagnosed with multiple system atrophy (MSA). This diagnosis has brought about a significant shift in my life. I am currently learning about the disease and its progression. I am also seeking support and resources to help me navigate this challenge. Working has always been a central part of my identity. This unexpected illness has drastically altered my life. Being bedridden is a challenging experience I never anticipated. The change from an active life to immobility has been difficult to process. I am struggling to adapt to this new reality.

Providing care can be both rewarding and challenging, demanding both patience and resilience. Remember that support and understanding are crucial for both the caregiver and the recipient. Cherishing these moments and acknowledging the effort involved makes a world of difference. I love my wife for all she does in her support.
