Hello Everyone !!

Most of you may know my wonderful husband Patrick. He has been battling Autoimmune Hepatitis -Liver disease/cirrhosis-in lamens terms-

He was diagnosed in his 20's when he had an emergency gallbladder removal and then was sent straight to the Mayo Clinic Specialists for care.

Basically his body thought " hey we don't like you Liver! And then attacked itself'" hence Auto immune disease in a nutshell.

With that he still travels to the great state of Minnesota and meets with his liver team at the Mayo clinic. Unfortunately since birth he has had several umbilical hernia repairs. He had hernia repair a few years ago with again, no success. The last few years he has battled once again with a large abdominal wall hernia and several cellulitis (infections) . The team met with us and recommended he have a full abdominal wall reconstruction done. However, they were leary as how this procedure will affect his liver and hopefully not reject the process of repair it needs.

The surgery date is scheduled for November 4th, 2025. He will have a longer recovery than a normal person and will need to do extensive physical therapy afterwards. Your prayers and contributions to offset medical/travel costs would help our family tremendously and we appreciate all of you.
