Hi! My name is Shannon Age and I am starting this fundraiser for my 36 year old son Patrick Age, who has been hospitalized over and over this year due to kidney problems. Because of his many hospitalizations, Patrick lost his job in July. He has unfortunately been unable to work regularly at this time because of his health.

Anyone who knows Patrick knows he is usually the one to show up for anyone and everyone. Patrick is the one his friends and coworkers call when they need any kind of help. He's the one who gives the ride when your car's not running, the one who helps everyone with home improvements, the one you call when you're moving. He's the one who stops when he sees someone broken down on the highway of road.

Patrick and his wonderful fiance Kayla are raising four incredible kiddos ages nine to sixteen. They are typical kids; they are funny, challenging, and just the right amount of sarcastic. They are very active kiddos. Patrick believes deeply that it is his responsibility to be the provider, protector, and source of strength and faith for his family. It has been incredibly hard for him to accept help.

Unfortunately, Patrick and Kayla have had to postpone their wedding indefinitely.

They have been very blessed to have an understanding landlord, but the reality is they are now six months behind on their rent. Without help, they will lose their home in January. Medical bills have also piled up, which as we all know, are not cheap. Of course there are also utility bills, car payment, phone bills, etc that have to be paid as well. Even with Kayla working full time, they are falling so far behind.
