Hi, my name is Emily, and I’m reaching out to help my stepdad Patrick and my mum, Lek.

Patrick was recently diagnosed with Cancer (Metastatic Tumours which have spread to his head) and their world has been turned upside down.

He is a hardworking, generous, passionate and very kind man who has always been there for everyone else, especially my mum who left an abusive relationship before she met Patrick, he saved her but now he needs us to be there for him.

Because Patrick’s treatment is so intensive, my mum has had to stop working to become his full-time carer. And because they live in France, and with French being my mum’s fourth language, it has been a particularly difficult task to receive help from the French government.

While they are fighting this battle with everything they have, the loss of income has made it impossible to keep up with daily life. They are currently struggling to cover basic costs like food, electricity, and transport to the hospital.

We are raising £2000 to ensure they can focus entirely on Patrick’s recovery without the constant fear of losing their home or going without essentials or worrying about their next meal.
