Support Patrick Talbot's Kayak Program Revival

Aloha fellow adventurers, this is Patrick Talbot, LMFT, reaching out to all of you who have paddled with us throughout the years or have joined us in celebrating life together. For over 30 years now, we have been offering kayaking opportunities at little or most of the time at no cost.

Well, the trailer we use to transport the kayaks needed an overhaul, so I had the rack rebuilt and refurbished the main frame, removing the rust, priming, and painting three coats of paint. With all of the budget cuts in school programs, we don't have the funds to cover the cost of repairs to the trailer or the kayaks, which also need replacement parts.

I plan on continuing to offer full moon and social paddles, which so many of you have experienced, as well as creating nature-immersive therapy sessions with the kayaks and SUPs. I have opened up my therapeutic practice again, offering counseling sessions using nature as my co-therapist and providing CEU courses assisting clinicians to better care for themselves and their clients.

This fundraiser is to cover the cost of the repairs needed and to assist in covering the cost of the permits and insurance renewal so that we can continue offering our kayaking opportunities and counseling sessions.
