Support Patrick Spedale's Open Heart Surgery & Recovery

Dear family and friends of Patrick W. Spedale,

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, my father, Patrick Spedale, will undergo a crucial Triple by-pass surgery at Methodist Hospital in the medical center. With this upcoming surgery and road to recovery, the weight of the necessary medical expenses and living costs afterward are a stress we are hoping to alleviate through this campaign.

A routine visit in February 2024 revealed he had suffered a silent heart attack, leading to the discovery of multiple blockages. With determination, medical guidance, and a major lifestyle change over the last few weeks, he managed to control his Type II Diabetes and lower his A1C, making him ready for surgery.

For over 35 years, my father has been a beloved figure, touching countless lives through his dedication to Catholic education, campus ministry, music, and mentorship to young people. From his years at Mt. Carmel High School, Mary Queen Catholic Church, St. Pius X High School to his current mission at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, he has been cherished and beloved by many as a teacher, friend, companion, colleague, and member of the family, and his journey through surgery and recovery will be met with an outpouring of love and support.

In the face of adversity, my father finds strength in his faith and spiritual grounding and in the love and prayers of his cherished community. Your unwavering support is his greatest treasure, reminding him of the blessings that surround him.

We humbly reach out for your support, both in prayer and in any capacity you can offer, to help with the medical and living expenses to ensure my father can focus on recovery with peace of mind.
