My friend’s father, Patrick Schroeder, passed away suddenly this July. His death has left a huge whole in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Patrick fiercely loved his 2 kids and created a loving community for them in San Diego where he raised them, and met his fiancé. I knew him as a kind father. His home was always open and welcoming - a reflection of him.
