Support Patricia's Family After Devastating Fire

My name is Daniel Yates. This is my grandmother Patricia Estevos' house in Eureka, California. We have had this home in the family since the '70s. We all grew up here! My family is devastated . The best news is that everyone is safe. Grandma had some horrible smoke inhalation but is now out of the hospital. Thank God. We are truly blessed everyone made it out. My sisters did not want to do a GoFundMe because they are to proud to ask for help, the woman in my family are some of the strongest woman ive ever met, but with everyone asking me how they can help, I've decided to do it myself. We are a proud family who work hard for everything we have. We grew up poor, I mean living in the streets and trailer park poor. My sisters along with my niece Nick, used my grandmother's garage as storage because it's the safest place, as we thought.

My sisters lost everything, all their furniture, appliances, baby pictures, baby clothes, family memorabilia, antique family dishes, baby books, photo albums—I mean everything. I've called the police and fire department and have not found out who the men and women were that saved my grandma. She's 91 and 300+ lbs. These amazing heroes broke out her windows to allow smoke to escape and broke down the front door as my grandmother screamed for her life. They got together, pulled together their strength, and got her out alive . These are my heroes. Anyone who knows who they are, please get ahold of me! Peace and love to all who can help. God bless!
