Supporting Patricia-Joana Allertz (PJ) Through Her Cancer Journey

Story:

Our Dear friend Patricia is facing a challenging time, and we wanted to share that she recently received a cancer diagnosis and is now preparing for major surgery followed by treatment. She is handling this journey with strength, hope and positive spirit, but as you can imagine, it brings emotional, physical, and financial challenges.

While she is the kind of person who rarely asks for anything, we know that this is a time when her energy needs to be focused on healing — not the mounting expenses or daily burdens that come with such a journey. Even with insurance, her medical and treatment-related costs are expected to exceed $15,000, not including additional recovery expenses and lost income during her healing process.

Our goal in creating this GoFundMe is to help ease some of the burdens that come with surgery, treatment, and recovery, so she can focus her energy where it matters most — on healing and spending time with her family.
