I am posting on behalf of my mom, Patricia Smith. She was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, it is spreading rapidly, it's already in her liver, kidneys, esophagus and skull. She needs to start treatment immediately if there is any hope to prolong her life. She doesn't have insurance so she is unable to get treatment unless she self pays. She is out of work right now due to the toll this is taking on her body. She has applied for medical and social security benefits but has yet to hear back if she is approved. She is needing help with paying her bills and possibly funding treatments if she doesn't get approved soon. Without treatments she is looking at 3 to 5 months life expectancy.
