Support Patricia Pendola's Cervical Laminoplasty Recovery

Hi all, I would like to start a GoFundMe page for my mom, Patricia Pendola. She recently had cervical laminoplasty surgery. Her spine had deteriorated, crushing the nerves on her left side, and became somewhat paralyzed.

Earlier this year, my mom left her job as a teacher's aide for almost 15 years, and in August of this year, she became an aide to children with ranging disabilities. She applied for FMLA but was denied due to not having enough hours at the job to qualify. As of today, her doctor will not approve her to resume her current duties for at least another 3 to 4 weeks. With that, she might not be able to return to work for the remainder of the school year, which puts her job at risk.

The insurance does not cover all expenses, i.e. operation, rehab, physical therapy, and any other incidentals that might come up.
