For 11 beautiful months, Patricia Boadi held her miracle in her arms, cherishing every smile, every tiny milestone. After years of hoping and trying, her baby girl, Danielle, was the answer to countless prayers—a joy beyond words.

On Saturday 2/15/2025, that joy was taken from her.

She had just fed Danielle and left her watching TV while she prepared lunch. When the commercials came, silence filled the room when normally Danielle would be crying. Rushing back, she found her baby still—her tiny head tilted to the side.

She called her name. No response. She shook her gently. No movement. Panic turned to terror as she desperately tried to wake her, but Danielle remained unresponsive.

Frantic, Patricia called 911. The dispatcher instructed her to perform CPR, and with trembling hands, she followed every step, clinging to hope. Minutes felt like an eternity until the paramedics arrived. They took over, trying everything they could to revive Danielle, but nothing worked.

They rushed her to Nationwide Children's Hospital, where doctors fought to save her. But the unthinkable was confirmed—her precious Danielle, just a month shy of her first birthday, was gone.

No words can ease this pain, no reason can explain this loss. All we can do is pray. Pray for Patricia. Pray for strength. Pray for comfort. Pray that one day, she finds peace in the love she shared with her beloved Danielle, however brief.
