Hello, my name is Rick Nixon, and with a very heavy heart, I am asking for help for my wife, Patrice Nixon.
Our lives changed in an instant when we recently received the devastating news that Patrice needs a double mastectomy due to breast cancer.
Nothing could have prepared us for the fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak that followed — I’ve broken down countless times thinking of my wife and our twin boys, Jacob and Christian, who adore their mother and can’t imagine life without her warmth, laughter, and love.
For those who know Patrice, you know she is the definition of selfless love. She has always been the person who puts everyone else first — family, friends, even strangers. She gives without ever expecting anything in return. She carries a heart that is so big, so pure, and so full of compassion that it’s impossible to describe her without feeling emotional. She is not just our rock — she is the soul of our family.
The thought of her going through such a major, life-changing surgery is overwhelming. Watching someone so strong, so giving, and so full of life have to fight a battle like this is one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced. We are trying to stay strong for her, and she continues to fight with grace, courage, and hope — but we also know we can’t do this alone.
The financial burden of surgery, treatments, recovery time, medication, and daily living expenses will become an extremely heavy weight. We will be doing everything we can, but I know we must reach out and ask for help — something that isn’t easy for us, especially Patrice, who is always the one offering help to others.
Any amount you can give — no matter how small — is a blessing. If you are unable to donate, please help by sharing this, praying for Patrice, or sending messages of love and strength.
Your support is not just financial — it is emotional, spiritual, and life-lifting.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for lifting Patrice up, for standing with our family, and for believing in her healing. We hold on tightly to faith, love, and all of you who choose to stand beside us.
With love, gratitude, and hope,
Rick, Patrice, Jacob & Christian Nixon
