On the late evening of October 28th, our family experienced a nightmare when a devastating house fire completely destroyed the home of my mother, Patrice, and her partner, Brian.

This was not just a house; it was a multi-generational home that has been the center of our lives for decades. At first, it was the home of my grandmother, and later became a sanctuary for my mom. Within those walls were irreplaceable memories, family heirlooms, and everything they owned.

I am creating this GoFundMe campaign aimed to help offset their immediate and practical needs during this time.

Patrice and Brian are safe with their geriatric cat, “Mr. Kitty.” They are now faced with the overwhelming task of starting completely over.

I am establishing this fund to cover their most immediate and critical needs as they try to navigate this crisis and transition from the rubble to being back on their feet. Currently, they are in shock and don't know what they need.

Your donation will directly help with:

Basic Necessities: Replacing essential clothing, shoes, toiletries, etc. Funds to purchase essential furniture, kitchenware, and basic household items to make their temporary space livable. Bridging the gap between what insurance will eventually provide and what they need right now.

My mom doesn't want charity nor is she looking for a handout, but sharing this campaign so people can support them.
