Hi! I'm Patience, and I'm here asking for support for my facial feminization surgery, scheduled with Dr. Liliana Camison Bravo in Pittsburgh on June 17th! Donating to my fund will ensure that I'll be able to pay my hospital bills and recover at home while I am unable to work.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm a leatherdyke, an herbalist, and a street medic living in Pittsburgh. I teach professional writing, and I'm a volunteer grant writer for a black trans mutual aid collective.

I was originally scheduled to teach over the summer to supplement my income, but getting FFS in June means that I needed to turn down that opportunity. My fiancé is also taking a full week off of work to support me, so we'll need extra support to make sure that our living expenses are taken care of.

I'm very lucky that this surgery is covered by my insurance, but I'll have additional medical costs beyond what insurance is willing to pay; the copays alone for this surgery are fairly significant. I'll also need to buy additional medical supplies and other supports to help with recovery.

I know some girls will include a breakdown of the different procedures they're getting, but I prefer to be a bit more private here. If you're a trans girl considering Dr. Camison Bravo, please reach out, especially after June. I'd love to share my experience with you.
