My friend Pate Cahoon is one of the happiest, most outgoing people I know. He loves the outdoors—dirt bikes, camping, football—you name it.

Over the past couple of years, Pate’s life has changed in ways none of us expected. He’s been battling a serious illness, which led to a blood clot in his leg and has kept him in and out of the hospital and stuck inside more than he should be.

Even through all of this, Pate keeps a smile on his face and continues to be the same kind, positive person everyone loves. His parents, Chelsea and Creston, are doing everything they can to support him.

We’re asking for a little help to ease the financial stress that comes with all of this. Anything you can give truly means a lot.
